IN TIME.

Art for Clare (Claudie) Caldwell has always been the initial impulse, a filter through which to decipher subliminal, pre-cognitive and cognitive responses to her inner and outer worlds, a way of making sense of and sharing ‘conversations’ about things that are important.

“In Time” is a narrative in paintings on angelic intervention, no matter what form it may take: its arrival, its departure and its re-intervention.
In a world currently dominated by the cult of the decadent, the ugly and the secular, art has largely abandoned its role of transcending these dystopias and connecting us to an ‘otherness’ – a connection to what is Divine, that connects us to the Divine within us.
It is a loss that severs what she believes to be the pursuit of our sacred purpose on this planet.

Comments from viewers.

“Your work disturbs me on a very deep level and I don’t know why. That’s why I love it so much.” (Tanya Aspell. Psychotherapist).

“Your exhibit is breathtaking! And what a story it tells. From the beginning of earth to humanity’s creation. And always there have been the watchers and teachers that you so brilliantly portray in sublime shades of blues and whites.
It’s a privilege to know and love you.” (Sharon Morris).

“This work is powerful and profound, in fact it is visionary. Prophetic. I hope you get some recognition within your lifetime.” (Margaret Bowater. MA. Psychotherapist. President of DNANZ).

“This is powerful and important work. Best you’ve ever done. It does touch on the perilous issues humanity is facing but ultimately the viewer is left with a sense of hope.” (Sean Jenner. Eco Tour Guide / Artist).

“Just wanted to say I respect your bravery. The works are honest. I know how hard it is putting yourself out there.” (Brett a’Court. Artist).

“There was a living force in the room….As always, your work leaves a powerful imprint on my heart, mind and psyche. Your ability to capture the rapture found within the tenderness of a TRUE connection with all
that is divine in our human experience, creates an exquisitely sacred space, wherever your work is displayed…. You capture the blind yearning of the human heart to connect with all that is tender and sacred on this delicate web of a planet where all life can only truly thrive through the grace of unconditional LOVE.” (Anne Jones. Writer. Drama Coach).

“Congratulations. ‘In Time’ is a fantastic exhibit…very illustrative and illuminating of our human condition and spiritual hope.” (Helen Falla. Occupational Therapist).

“Not enough words…It was a breathtaking show, a sublime pleasure to see this work at the opening. Do see it if you can. Well done is an understatement. Recommended.” (Mike Trott. Psychotherapist).

“Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This show is so, so brilliant!” (Jon Carapiet. Photographer).

“I’m absolutely dumbfounded by the enormous amount of work you have achieved. Your work and the space are wonderful.” (Leslie Henderson. Artist).

“You blend and balance the light and shadow of our human experience so gently with such skill and nuance. Just beautiful work.” (Jan. Psychotherapist).

“They look amazing – a mysterious sequence of very profound images. Clearly very meaningful to you and your experience of life.” (Peter Lange. Ceramicist).

“It’s like walking into a cathedral of blue light. Fabulous. I could feel a palpable spiritual presence in the gallery.” (Sally Vince. Counsellor).
